2010 PAUL D. HATCH CAMPOUT!!!!!!!
Loved the PDH Campout! Favorite things were: fort building, Hands and feet, Volleyball, Trace's Kitchen, "Gay Cave", FOOD, babies, Popsicles, Jake, walking sticks, scavenger hunts, rain, horse shoe tournaments, talking, marshmallows on my shoes and The Testimony Meeting!
We were able to have foreign exchange girls from China, Peng and Emma, stay with us for three weeks. We learned how crappy Americans eat, how much we eat, how lucky we are to have a big famiy, how they would rather stay and hang out at our house than go anywhere, and so many other things. Some of our favorite things they would say was "too sweet" about anything fun we asked them to try. They loved waffles and every morning I would ask them what they wanted to eat and they would look at each other and say "Awefulls" They put approximately 6 drops of syrup on them, but they still liked them. We would play a game that we would pass a ball to someone and we would ask them a question and they had to answer it. I asked Peng, "what is your favorite thing about America?" She said "Your freedom in schools" They go to school from 7 am to 8:30 pm every day and even have 2 hours of homework at night. Then we asked Emma the same question and she quickly replied "Family" YEAH!!!
